Meet Mr. Scott Black

Mr. Scott V. Black is CEO of Like It Matters, LLC and Radio host and coach for Like It Matters Radio. He strives to help organizations, and individuals, maximize the potentials they were created with. He is the ultimate life coach, motivator, and change agent. Mr. Black is certified as a Human Behavioral Specialist, and a Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), specializing in Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Multiple Intelligences. Mr. Black has conducted Transformational Leadership training for over 23 plus years, spanning across three countries. There are literally tens of thousands of clients whose lives have been enriched, educated, and informed by Mr. Black’s teachings.
In 1994, Mr. Black was CEO and founder of Empower U, Inc. In April of 2012, Mr. Black transformed his company into Like It Matters, LLC. Mr. Black continues to hold his famous, transitional Leadership Training classes all across the nation, as well as providing executive and life coaching. The Leadership Awakening course Mr. Black developed is nationally known as the most powerful leadership training available today. Mr. Black has delivered Transformational Leadership training to large corporations such as Coca Cola Enterprises, Miller-Coors, Kraft-Nabisco, as well as NFL football players, housewives, pastors, and thousands of other individuals who have a desire to maximize the potential they were created with. In 2008 he co-authored, Discover Your Inner Strength with Ken Blanchard, Brian Tracy, & Stephen Covey. In 2010 Mr. Black co-authored the book Yes, You Can! with Warren Bennis and the late Jim Rohn. His Fourth book, 180 Ways to Live Your Life Like it Matters, is a road map for living a life full of purpose and passion; like it matters! His latest book, How Many Ways Smart Am I? A Program that WORKS!

To say that I was leery of the Leadership Awakening weekend training would be a vast understatement. I got cold feet and almost made up an excuse as to why I might not be able to attend during the week leading up to the event. However, to have missed this training would have been a detriment to becoming WHO it is that God has made me to be. During the training, I came face to face with some of the barriers that had been keeping me from being the leader that my church needed me to be. Over the 48 hour period, I was challenged in new ways that I had never experienced and had my life significantly altered. I literally came back to my home and church as a different person. Yes, I still had the same hobbies, family, and even calling, but, for the first time in my adult life, those things actually begin to take on significant importance in my life.
As wild as it probably sounds, food began to taste better. Smells become more potent and life became more vivid. When I began living my life like it matters, it actually did!! I am a better husband, a better father, a better pastor, and a better leader in my community because of the work of God in my life, through the experience made possible in your training. The following weekend, a man pulled me aside and literally asked, “what happened to you last weekend”? He hen mentioned that he had just heard me preach the best and most bold sermon that he had heard in his life. Just this morning, 3 weeks after the training, I felt more assertive and bold in a Zoom meeting with our city’s mayor regarding a community event that our church leads each year for he 4th of July weekend. I have been more consistent in my devotional time with my children and even started an LLC in order to begin creating a future financial legacy for my children and their children to follow. I have been a better leader in my local church and my staff noticed an immediate difference in my approach to everyday tasks. hank you for taking the time to create a program that WORKS! You have made an impact in my life and I plan to continue that impact in the lives of others for generations that come.
